Call Me Delusional, But...
Sometimes I think that Heroes is tailor-made for me.
Why?
Reason 1:

Peter Petrelli - I don't think there's been another character who's been created on TV that I have loved this much. Such an inherently good person, that even after losing his memory, his identity, he still says righteous things like "I'm not a thief", and seeks to save a girl who's in danger. That he, who has lost everything, still seeks to establish relationships with the people around him. He can't help it, it's just who he is. And Milo is such a phenomenal actor - he brings such depth and emotion to a characer that needs to be exactly that - full of emotion, always hopeful, always a dreamer, always good. *Swoon* And of course it doesn't hurt that Peter's played by an actor with the most amazingly heart-rending puppy-dog eyes in the industry. And of course it doesn't hurt that he's now spending the first few episodes of season 2 shirtless. No, it doesn't hurt at all. ^^ And it doesn't hurt that he has the coolest power in the entire collection of Hero-powers. I can't wait to see him reunite with the people he loves most, I can't wait to see him grow into his own and develop more control over his powers (which I think this amnesia and isolation might help with), I can't wait to see him act with Kristin Bell (oooOoOH what a hot couple they'd make)... I just can't wait for any storyline that remotely involves him.
Reason 2: Mohinder speaks French
The writers are smart, they SO know how to get the fans all-swooning and crazy... It's no secret that Mohinder is widely popular because of Sendhil's beautiful chiseled features and his hot British accent.... now they have him speaking French? The language of romancing... I bet all the Mohinder fans melted at that particular moment.
Reason 3: Mohinder and Matt play daddy to Molly
It's like Two and a Half Men, except that it's Two and a Half Mutants. Or something. So heartwarmingly adorable. I love that the writers can find time in the midst of the "OoOoOoH Shiny SuperPowers" moments to show tender little family scenes like these, because this is what makes the show tick. I am attached to these characters, I am invested in their lives, I am rabidly awaiting every Tuesday so I can hang on to every word they say, every emotion that flickers over their faces, every connection they forge as their lives intertwine with each other's. Yes, I know I'm addicted. Yes, I know it's probably not very healthy. Am I gonna continue with this? Absolutely! :p
Reason 4: Epic Sagas Spanning Generations
Mystery, drama, intrigue! I bet Kensei is one of the 12 Elders. And, and, since Kaito Nakamura's death scene had so much blood - I bet it's Kensei who jumped off the building with Kaito, healed, and left the death scene. But the thing attacking Angela Petrelli was freaky. Are the attackers the same person? I dunno! Am I intrigued? Very much so! Am I waiting with bated breath to find out more? Hell yeah! I can't wait to watch their story unfold. What is this horrible thing that they did? Why does someone want revenge? Who are the 12?! (We know Charles Deveaux, Papa Petrelli, Linderman, Angela Petrelli, Kaito Nakamura... that's 5. Possibly Takezo Kensei, possibly Bob the company man. Hmmmmmm... mystery, drama, intrigue!
Lalala, tonight's post is boring coz I'm tired.
I blame it on the lack of sleep!
Prison Break is downloading... more puppy-dog eyes in the form of Wentworth Miller! Yaay!
