Heroes is back!!!
Haha, not that I need Heroes in my life for it to be complete... really. :p
Anyways,
not in the mood to wax lyrical and be all descriptive, so just some thoughts on the last two episodes of Heroes. Be forewarned! You are now entering into spoiler territory!
Random thoughts categorised randomly:
Mohinder, thou art dungufied:
You would think it wouldn't be possible for Mohinder to get even stupider than he was in the previous seasons. Well you thought wrong!!! Of all the stupid things to do, this one just takes the cake man. But then again... he's so pretty we'd pretty much almost-forgive him for it... This season, instead of starting it off with Shirtless Peter Petrelli (which would be SO much better), they started it off with Shirtless Mohinder. Haha, which I suppose is supposed to distract us from the fact that for a supposed genetic scientist, he is being incredibly
S T U P I D.
Maya sleeps around:
Maya's only been on the show for one season, and she's already slept with TWO characters? Aiyoyo where are they going with her character? Is she nothing but eyecandy and the occasionally weepy death-bringer?
Future Peter/Present Peter/Weevil?:
Oooh hot brooding powerful scarfaced Future Peter is back! (No one's complaining man) A little jaded, a little dark, and that scene at the beginning with dark-haired Claire was fantastic... but what happened to my poor little idealistic puppy-eyed Peter? Stuck in the body of Weevil? Looking into the face of Elle, who just so happens to be Veronica Mars? Ahahah surreal. I worry for Present Peter... for he is about to witness evil as he has never known it before... how can his warm and fuzzy heart take it? *gives bearhug*
scarface!
Speaking of Elle:
I heart Elle! Without her emotionally distant father, she might fare better than she's had all this while. She's just a lost little girl who wants attention/affection/some form of reciprocation. I hope she finds a father figure in Mr Bennett (coolest daddy in the world!). Aaah all these Vmars characters! When will Jason Dohring be roped into Heroes too? As Elle's love interest! Hahah that would be the perfect conclusion to VMars that never gave us a perfect conclusion. *gripes*
Mama Petrelli:
WHAT. THE. HELL? Mother of SYLAR??? She sure was busy in her youth! This is just sad coz... hello.... Nathan = pretty! Peter = pretty! Sylar = PSYCHOTIC DELUSIONAL KILLER of DOOM! She balances so precariously on the thin line between good and evil... occasionally the cold delusional control freak, occasionally the concerned mother... I don't geddit.
Claire's brains:
OMG I literally stopped breathing during the cat and mouse chase scene through the house. And Sylar poking at her brains like that. Eww eww eww. And the detached scalp? Eww eww eww. But these scenes also allowed for the funniest line in the episode: "eat your brain, Claire? That's disgusting." Ahahaha that's an answer to a long-unanswered question... Now we know that Claire can most probably live forever. Cool beans. But SYLAR? Sigh sigh sigh.
The Hiro and Ando arc:
Waaaa they're not tearing that cute little friendship apart?! I think in the future, Ando is the good one and Hiro has somehow mistakenly "gone to the dark side". Who knows? Twists abound! I like the Speedster... she's cool. Though she's kinda bad at this moment. Who knows? Twists abound!
fascinating.
Ali Larter will never leave the show:
She will just keep dying and coming on as an entirely different character, because, apparently, in Heroes, anything can work. Not sure how to feel about her new Ice Queen-ish character... seems like she's cut out to be one of the "evil" ones, if Mama Petrelli's prophetic dream is anything to go by...
I hate Linderman:
I don't know what he's doing here. Does Nathan have some sort of Psychological disorder too? Man I thought he was gone for good. Stupid whitebearded crap-spewing old man. Bleargh.
Level 5 arc:
Really cool arc, and the villains are possibly creepier than Sylar. Right now I really hate the pyro dude... he was just burning someone to death for no reason man. At least Sylar kills for a purpose - to gain powers. This guy just does it in the name of sadistic fun. I'm interested to know what Peter can do in Jesse Spencer's (sound manipulation dude) body.
I still love Nathan:
He completely won me over in the first season finale and my love for him will never die! Haha. And I really hope he doesn't have some sort of psych disorder, and I really hope he doesn't veer off the path of being the good man and brother that Peter needs him to be.
A turtle saved Matt's life!
Heehee, too funny, when Matt was talking to the turtle. Poor Matt, he's always getting himself into all sorts of situations. Now Africa?! Hehe. I like the African painter-prophet much more than I liked Isaac. This is interesting. Whee! :)

Can't wait for the next episode, which, if my Internet decides to cooperate, will be ready for watching by tomorrow evening! *squee*
