Seriously, with a cast like this, how can you be anything but AMAZINGLY AWESOME?!?! :) And Amazingly Awesome it is. Robert De Niro is awesome as a flamboyant pirate who is extremely concerned about his reputation. Michelle Pfeiffer is awesome as the evil Witch Queen who is obsessed with youth and good looks. Claire Danes is awesome as the slightly grumpy but amazingly beautiful 'star' that falls from the sky. The guy who plays the male protagonist Tristan is awesome as the slightly dorky dreamer who is transformed into a HOT and gallant hero. There is nothing that is not awesome. And I think I hold a record for using 'awesome' for the most times in a single paragraph. Awesome is me! Woohoo! You get the drift... :p

Watch it. I cannot stress this enough. Watch it, and you will know what I mean. Watch out for the scenes with the goat-turned-human. 'S all I'm saying. ^^

Meanwhile, do NOT watch The Last Legion. You would think that anything with Colin Firth in it would be somewhat good... that is NOT the case. It had such a contrived, unbelievable link with another legend at the end.... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. And moments where it tried to be dramatic and epic... I laughed. This is... the movie that tried to be epic but failed. Really. Watch it, though, if you fancy Aishwarya Rai and would like to see multiple scenes of her fighting off a bunch of bad dudes, speaking in an exotic accent, and rising all-sultry-like from a pool of water. Bleargh.

And I shall leave you with an incredibly adorable picture - the creation of an artist by the name of Jeff Thomas. Characters called Pon and Zi.
