Woe to our poor long-suffering neighbours. I cannot count on my fingers and toes the number of times we have given them an earful (and more!) during our loud loud family arguments.
Yesterday, in response to something Daddy said, my brother the smart ass retorted "Pot calling kettle black".
UHOH.
This, of course, led to a FURIOUS TIRADE which included these sentences:
"You're calling me a POT AH????!?!?!?!"
"You're saying that I'm just as BLACK AS YOU?!?!?!?!"
*ROAR ROAR ROARs the house down*
If you take away the shouting and menacing glares of DOOM and the vein-in-the-temple threatening to pop out, and actually examine those two sentences, it's actually quite funny. Heh.
You see where I get my crazies from???! ^^
I love my dad and bro, I really do. Despite the fact that they are crazy, hot-tempered loud-mouths. :)
