Hello blogosphere!
It's been a while since I posted huh...... I've been distracted. Heh. By a certain adorable/sexy singer/songwriter/musician who may have won a big reality tv series in the past month or two. :) I haven't been this fangirly since... highschool. Terrible. Is this a quarter life crisis? Oh noeeessss! Hehe.
On the topic of age, I realise (or have been realising for a while now) that this is the time in my life when I'll be attending tons of weddings. In the past year, my two high school best friends got married within the span of 3 months, and my two ex-colleagues got married within the span of 2 months! Off to attend another ex-colleague's wedding in July too!
So here I am with pictures (and the occasional commentary)! xD
Four Weddings (and no funeral) ^^
Janenee and Sam - Nov 08

So in November last year, I flew to Melbourne to be the bridesmaid for Janenee, my old high school friend who used to live near my house, who used to say that she would get married in jeans. Haha how times have changed. She had the prettiest gown... and we braved the freezing temperature (in what country is summer freakin 15 degrees?!?!) in our strapless gowns to traipse across Melbourne city to take photos. :)
About to start the wedding procession

Drizzling and freezing... doesn't look like it huh?

Chiaying and Erik - Feb 09
Next! Chiaying, my other high school close friend, who I remember fondly for her penchant to laugh like a psycho and do other embarassing things... heehee. Her actual church wedding was in KK, during CNY, so I didn't go. :( I did go to her wedding dinner in KL though. :) Pictures shamelessly stolen off facebook.

Erik and Chiaying singing a song he wrote for her. Aww.

Fuzzy picture coz my camera sucks. o_O
Joy and Ken - April 09

Hi Joy, if you're reading this! This was held, again, in Melbourne, but she came back for a dinner banquet thingy, where Sheryl sang a beautiful rendition of "To Make You Feel My Love" with Jo playing keyboard, and we had a reunion of sorts among colleagues. Joy you looked positvely radiant that night!

Reunion!

Congratulating the bride
Cindy and Gurnam - June 09
Cindy Joon was born in June and got married in June... to a nice Punjabi man. Heehee ^^ This was by far the most eye-opening experience, since I've never been to a Sikh wedding before. It was cool, we donned Punjabi suits and covered our heads and witnessed her beautiful marriage in a Sikh temple.

Punjabi-wannabes ^^
Janenee, Chiaying, Joy, and Cindy - I am so happy that you found your other half, your companion down this long road that is life. Each of your weddings hold a special place in my heart. :)
And now on to my next question... are you starting a FAMILY soon? Hmm? Hmm?
